Amongst the thousands of words
I penned to you
casually bundled
In boxes
chronologically bound and tied
from prying eyes
the dry ink sentiment
committed to pages and postcards,
yellow sticky notes and padded envelopes
stationery as diverse as the cities we called home
reams that now testify
to our successes,
our failure
And the love you thought I never publicised?
it was there from the start
put succinctly
between the lines
just shy of the watermark
